Engines
Hey guys this is my first post regarding engines. What are engines? Engines can be defined as machine that is used to transmit power.It convert s one form of power into mechanical energy .The heart of all automobiles is the engine. Engines can be broadly classified as internal and external combustion engines. Here we will concentrate on internal combustion engine. The automobile engine can be divide into two types depending upon the strokes they generate. Two Stroke Engine The two stroke engine is a reciprocating engine in which the piston does two time movement ( i.e. TDC to BDC and BDC to TDC ) to produce a power stroke. (BDC-Bottom dead center, TDC-Top dead center) What is stroke? When the piston moves from TDC to BDC or BDC to TDC then this movement of piston from TDC to BDC and vice versa is called one stroke. Construction of two stroke engine Main components of a two stroke engine 1. Spark plug: Spark plug is a device which is used
